Bodacious Bordeaux (Wine Soap)

The Kitchen Sink

Eagle Creek Natural Soaps are hand crafted by me, Kirsten Harris, in the tiny District of the Highlands, part of Greater Victoria.

On a quiet, rural acreage where I live with two cats and one spouse, I started making my own soap early in 2013. I guess it was sort of a New Year’s resolution to start treating myself like the princess I think I am.

I used to suffer from very dry skin and because I have no self-regulation, the incessant scratching of my dry skin often became dermatitis by the arrival of summer each year. I thought I’d try to make my own soap so that I’d know what was in it and also to see if it would make a difference. Well, very long story short . . . yes, it did.

We’ve just come through the longest stretch of dry weather here on the island anyone can remember and my skin is still soft and smooth, oh, and did I mention I’m older than dirt? Okay, not really but middle aged women can get dry skin, that’s just what happens. Well, no longer my friends, get on board with natural soaps and love your skin again.

What People are Saying . . .

Angela from Abbotsford, B.C. said

“I received my first batch of Lemony Lavender and of Oatmeal,/honey about 6 months ago – LOVE them both! Not only did it stop my skin from being  dry and itchy but it left a soft hint of fragrance I enjoy,   Being allergic to almost all soaps and smells it’s a relief to to find a product I can use. Thank you!  Can’t wait for my next batch!”

Valerie from Courtenay, B.C. says

I’ve got TWO glorious bars of your soap (orange and lime) and I’m in heaven.  I have the orange bar in my back bathroom near where we come into the house.  It’s the first thing I smell coming home and I just love how it makes my skin feel.  I am greedily hoarding the lime bar until the orange one is done so that I can enjoy it the same way.  You have a done a wonderful job and I just wanted to let you know that.”
